Just wanted to know if this really works because I see huge number of backlinks to some site and honestly some looks like they just created it to leave their URL. Does it help, really? need to find answers who are already expert on this. Thanks.

In my experience it's not true that the more backlinks you have the more chances on increasing you Page Rank. Maybe if this links are High Quality one way backlinks there could be more chances. There are other factors that Search Engines look into not just the number of backlinks. Maybe if you need someone to do an Internet Marketing for you check out websites that offer such services. There are those that offers link development alone or perhaps help you market your site.
