scammed by Theous Corporation, THEOUS, SOPHEA, INFINOLOGY

I was scammed by this company on would like to pass this info on to all.

Scammed!!!!!
Theous Corporation, THEOUS, SOPHEA, INFINOLOGY ..GRANT WRITING, WEB DESIGN, LOGO DESIGN, RESUME WRITING, SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION, 3D ART SERVICES, WEB HOSTING Los Angeles California

Company
Infinology Corporation, Albert
Address:
3010 Wilshire Blvd. PO Box 450
Los Angeles California 90010
U.S.A.
Phone Number:
1-877-883-2248

Fax:

Three Names Same Company- THEOUS, SOPHEA, INFINOLOGY

I was wanting a Logo designed for my new start up. So I searched on google and came across the top 10 logo designers at themostpopularbrands.com/
reviews/logo_designers/index.htm?site=google&engine=adwords!2656&keyword= logo+design&match_type

This is were I was taken
theous.com/logo_designers/index.php

The site sounded and looked ok. I needed a logo quick and this company looked like they could help me at a reasonable rate. The site quality wasn't as good as many of the other companies I looked at, but I went against my better judgement because of their promotion. I couldn't believe I was getting $545.00 package for $165.00.

I paid my $165.00 for this package. After I paid I received their order e-mail confirmation, that didn't have a reference/ order # on it. It states the following “Infinology Corp. will appear on your credit card statement as they are the company which handles the credit card processing for Theous Corporation. If you have any questions with this order please call 863-223-2296.”

, shows my billing info. I didn't think much of it so I went about my business until I received a second e-mail from this company of many names. It stated Thank you for ordering our LogoDesign service. Please download the attached microsoft word document and answer the questions accordingly. We need you to answers these questions before we can start Designing your Logo. If you have any quesitons please email the question to: [email address].

The document was very basic and asked very general questions concerning my company. Again I thought nothing of this. Everything seems to be moving right along. A week goes by and I haven't heard a thing from them. So I call and they say that they have my file and should start on it soon. They stated that there was a lot of business coming in from their special promotion and I should be patient.

I wait a few more days and still no word from this company. I start getting suspicious and do a search on this company. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH I should have gone with my gut feeling on this. I was scammed and I knew it. There isn't a lot out on the search but what is out there isn't good concerning this company.

I called the company again and the person I spoke with stated he could find any info on my order. He asked if I was sure I placed an order.

I'm ticked off now and do a search again and find a site called Rip Off Report.com on this site I find a fellow consumer “ Gurvir” that has been jacked around. I e-mailed him and he stated he was talking to a manager by the name of Albert. So I called the # he gave me and spoke with Albert. Albert told me he also couldn't find any record of my purchase. I told him my card was charged by his company. His reply was to have me e-mail him with a reason as to why I want a refund. I sent the e-mail and waited. Nothing. I contacted Gurvir again and he said he has got Theous to refund our money but he has to retract his posting on Rip off Report. I call Theous again and speak to Albert. Albert says he will not refund my money until this other customer retracts his statement. I didn't write the complaint nor do I know your other customer. PLEASE refund my money. Albert again states all I have to do is E-mail him a reason why I'm requesting a refund and they will give my money back. I send him 6 more e-mails stating why I want a refund. I have not received a refund or a phone nor an e-mail from this company.

BEWARE !!! Don't use their services you will be ripped off
ANYONE ALREADY RIPPED OFF BY THEM CONTACT ME
my email is [email address] I am collecting their order receipts to send it to FBI to file report and have investigation done on this company.

I would say if you are a web hosting or add hosting company, if you are aware a company is a scam or fruad, and you don't delete it, or if you don't do something, then it does bring you into it.

So by advertising for him I would say it does relate you.

I have almost 2000 profiles on my site. How do I know if someone is a scammer? i don't. What if this Theous guy created a profile on this website? Do you think that the webmasters of this site would delete it? No they wouldn't. So, this guy who is potentially a scammer creates a profile on my site, and suddenly I am also a scammer? I've never scammed anyone in my life. By the way, I don't delete profiles on my site unless they've contravened our TOS.

In all due respect, I think bringing my website into this is ludicrous.

This guy, Theous, or whatever his name is, can freely go and create a profile on a whole bunch of networking sites and his profile will not get deleted by the webmasters. He can create a profile, for instance, on AskMeHelpDesk.com. LinkedIn.com, MySpace.com, Ryze.com, EPinions.com. None of these sites would delete his profile. So, by association, would you consider all of these sites, including this one as scammers?

With the huge numbers of people creating profiles on these types of sites, all of these sites already have huge numbers of scammers that you don't know about.

And, by the way, I'm not gonna judge Theous and label him a scammer because someone complained about him. If he truly is a scammer, then I think he's an idiot for it. People need to respect others. He may be being falsely accused of something and I wouldn't judge him without his side of the story. Has anyone ever falsely accused you of anything? I've had that happen to me right here on this forum topic.

First, I agree that people should be very careful about making such accusations. We saw earlier how someone created an identity here claiming to represent Theous.

However, if your TOS doesn't include committing fraud, then it should.

As to your not judging Theous, did you read this thread carefully? If you had you would have noticed that Theous created a clone site of the BBB which gave them a false, positive rating. That was damning enough for me.

I agree with you Scott. My only problem was that something that this guy does was linked to me because he create a profile on my site. I don't defend him or his business practices in any way.

Yes, I agree guilt by association is not always valid. But if I were in your position I would delete the profile based on the info shown in this thread.

Alright, I wanted to get in here, ASAP to help those avoid Infinology.....

I've been a customer for a number of years, and I can tell you that things were "great" at infinology until about 1 year ago, but really 6 months ago.

Before 6 months ago, the total downtime we had was maybe a couple hours over 4 years....

In the last 6 months, weve been down 3-4 days, and suffered data/e-mail loss.

In between 6 months and 1 year ago we were down several times however only a few minutes here/there, so it was tolerable, and there were no losses.

Infinology is not responding to phone calls, e-mails, trouble tickets.

I am forced to pull my services from them, and I can't possibly believe, after what I have seen here on this forum/thread, that they will recover.

it's a rough and tough world out there in the services they are providing, and clearly they have lost it.

So please don't use infinology web hosting services, they are no longer "top rated".

I would also like to suggest EVERYONE that knows anything about Infinology and or these other companies they seemed to be involved with to report to the Better Business Bureau:

Here is a quick and easy link :

Infinology related:

Theous:

Sophea:

Good Luck!
