| | | If someone can speak chinese, i need your help! Hello all, I have found this forum to be quite valuable and I am hoping someone can help me out.
I am looking to purchase some goods from a Chinese manufcature and import them to Australia. The product in particular are chair covers and the prices I have been quoted are very cheap.
The problem I have is that I have no way of knowing if this company is real or if they are trying to scam me. I am hoping someone that can speak chinese telephone this company and ask a few questions to try and determine if they are in fact a genuine manufacturer of chair covers and other textiles. I have only been corresponding with them via email so far.
I'm happy to re-imburse you a couple of dollars for the cost of the phone call.
Any help would be appreciated. | | | | | | |

| I'd agree with Chuck. Particularly if they are located in closer proximity with Hong Kong.
Nevertheless, a few basic terms from my fairly limited repertoire:
Ni Hao (Hello)
Xie Xie Ni (Thank you)
Gui Lo (White Devil -- a very derogatory term, likely meaning the transaction is on very shaky ground)
Good luck. Take care.
