How do I check a loan company is legit?.

I have a loan company who have scammed me !
I no I was stupid to pay the free but now they are not giving me the money I have paid already back but simipily asking for an additional '170 to finalise the loan
Company is called loans 4 uk and the number we had is no longer working after we paid a money gram to them.
They are now ringing frm a withheld number and asking for hiis final payment . Is there anything I can say that will spook them into paying me back the money I have put out already
Please help.

Report them to the police for Fraud and Theft.
