Water in basement!

When it rains, I'm getting water in my basement. I have what looks like two Clean Out Access Doors, but only one is directly below the fireplace The other door is about a foot next to it. and that where the water is coming in the basement. Do I need to insulate the Access door and if i I do will it keeps the rain out? Can I seal it, and if so what would I fill it with? If this is something I can't do. Who or what profession should I contact? A chimney cleaner? A contractor? I need some help. I am so tired of a wet basement. The foundation next to the chimney seems to be sound!
Please helpl!!

Your approaching the problem from the wrong side. You need a chimney cap.

Fireplace Accessories, Screens, Tool Sets, Chimney Caps, Fireplace Candelabra

Easy to install, if your comfy working on the roof.
