Frameless shower door- clips vs channels?

Frameless shower door- clips vs channels?

We are having a frameless glass shower door installed in our newly renovated bathroom. We had a couple companies give quotes and received different answers/plans from each. One stated that inserting with channels was superior, the other stated using clips was. Any advice?
