Test for treated wood

I need to sand and refinish the wood floors in my house. I read somewhere that some older types of treated wood contain arsenic and is toxic. Are there any types of wood used in floors that are of this type and is there a test for it? Is there a substitute for sanding that gives the same results? Thanks for any help.

I haven't heard of treated wood for INDOOR flooring,maybe a porch or a 3 season room.

If I were you,I would concider calling the mfgr.of your choice and ask this.

I have been in the building trades for many years and still haven't been made ill from the 'old' style treated woods.
