seal or don't seal new grout

I am remodeling my bathrooms. Should I seal the grout? My contractor says no. What are the pros and cons of each decision?

If You Have A Light Colored Grout, Id Seal It.
Most People Think Of Not Sealing Grout Because Youll Becareful, But Its Not Just Spilling Food Or Drink That Will Stain It, Nail Polish, Makeup, Will Do It To. My Wife Has Proved That,
The Sealer Doesnt Cost That Much For What It Is. And You Can Mop It On.
