Removing a stubborn screw.

Hi:

I am trying to remove a face plate for an electrical outlet. However, the central screw on the face plate just turns but does not come out at all! How do I get it out?

Thanks,
Kutra

Be careful and try to pry the cover off the outlet. If the screw is stripped that bad it may pull out with a little force.
If its a plastic outlet cover you may have no choice but to snap it off and then you may have to replace the outlet if you cant get the screw out.
