    Removing Concrete from ceramic tile
Does anyone have ideas about removing concrete mud from the back of ceramic tile. I have 50ish flamingo pink tile in my bathroom. I recently removed all the tile from 1 wall and managed to save enough of the tiles to fill in the area that was left open when the vanity was removed. Some of the tiles have some very uneven concrete that is still adheared to the tile. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Can be done with a wire wheel on grinder. Be sure to use eye protection. A slow and tedious task.

Soak tile and use cold chisel to remove large pieces of mortar. Have tile on flat surface anddo not use a hammer. Use grinder to remove balance.

    Good luck

Diamond rasp. Fein Multimaster or equlivelent. Untitled Document, Dremel and even harbor freight

There are videos on the Fein site and I think the Dremel site too.

Get a suction cup that will fit on the front side of the tile and while the tile is secured to the cup rub it back and forth against some flat concrete.

If you use a grinder wheel it could overheat the tile and cause it to shatter. So be careful.
