removal of carpet glue before tiling

Do I need to remove the old carpet glue from the concrete slab before I begin the tiling process

id get a scraper and get as much as i could up. definately all the loose glue,

Some argue you can tile over it. To be sure remove. Get a scraper that you can put your foot on and kick/shove with your foot. Angle the scraper and do it little buy little. No easy way around this.
