We purchased a home with an attached garage. Unfortunately the floor does not slope towards the garage door and there is no drain in the garage. The day after our first snowstorm all of the ice and snow melted off our cars and seeped under the connecting wall into the living room carpet.We're trying to decide on the best remedy before we invest in new carpet, not to mention our concern that the drywall will develop mold. There was a similar posting on the help desk, but that problem sounded like the water pooled near the entrance.
