PM from a PM: Concrete coating Systems

Thank you so much for your response. I read another response you gave someone who asked about painting concrete and you said

"Painting concrete has more to do with preparation than anything else. It must be etched with muratic acid or similar, otherwise you'll end up with a peely mess. It also must be fully cured before painting.
If this is a floor, I'd investigate other coating systems for concrete."

I wanted to paint the concrete inside my house and use throw rugs until I am able to afford tile. Can you tell me what 'other coating systems' you are speaking of and which one you might recommend? Thank you again for your time. Have a great day!

Do a Google search on "concrete coating systems"

Epoxy is going to be a real durable coating.

Designs can be essentially created in some systems to look like tile. Some crosswalks are done tis way.
