Muriatic Acid

I have got muriatic acid to get rid of efflorescence in my concrete floor, so now I'm just wondering about a safe disposal method after I finish with what I need? Can I pour this down the drain?

New or used? I'd keep the new in a safe place. Used? I'm not sure... I use muratic in my pool and it just seem to evaporate out... rinse thoroughly and dilute , rinse, etc... I'm not sure if there's a problem.

Add baking soda but don't throw it down the drain if you like having drains in your house. Don't add water to muriatic acid but you can add acid to water so look around for a friend with a pool.
