| After the leak: drying interior drywall & framing between floors Hi,
I had the prototypical leak (toilet supply line broke) upstairs, which leaked downstairs. The leak was easy to fix...shut it off and replace the line.
The question now is how to dry the space between the upstairs and downstairs, the interior space. It just happened and I'd like to avoid mold or other issues.
The leaking water come through mostly through electrical outlet boxes in the ceiling. I'm thinking of getting a high-capacity fan/blower from a rental house and hooking them up to the outlet boxes.
Anyone have experience with this? Any specific fan types/blowers? Any pointers?
Thanks in advance for any information and tips.
