Lamanate flooring on stair well

Im currently doing some work in my house, i have a stair case that consists of five stairs, then a landing about 1.2msq, then more stairs then another landing, how do i lamanate the stairs and carpet the landing, bearing in mind i have three kids who run up and down them??????

are you really sold on laminate??it's very slippery and i would consider a different material
maybe carpet or even a runner.

the edges of the laminate will be a challenge at the very least ..
if money is a concern maybe try using pine or native wood that is cost effective

Laminates are not recommended for this application. I think it would be more work than you think and it would not be a safe surface.
