insect holes in wood

1 Answer I have twenty holes in the side of an amoir which is in the front entry way of my home. A new one evolved yesterday. We are freaked out because it looks like some body got a hold of a drill and drilled the holes. I have no idea what this could have been. Someone said carpenter bees but the beetle may be the culprit. who do I talk to about this? I am blown away |

The attached picture is not so good, but as you might be able to see, he is brown, and may be dragging something reddish behind him on his way out of the hole. Next to the hole that this guy came out of is another hole where we see sawdust being pushed out of the hole. Can anyone help me with...
