hardwood floor scratches

A friend helping(yeah right) me move my sofa, slided the sofa across my hardwood floor. Now we have large light streakes on the dark wood. Not deep to touch, just light enough to see soon as soon as I walk in room. What can I do? Short of redoing the whole room. This is a large room and the scratches are in the middle of the room.

you can try and put a polish on the floor. that will help hide it,
or you can tape off the pieces of wood and apply a spray coat of clear polyurathane on just the affected pieces
or they make some colored markers for stained floors you can rub over the scratch, they come in alot of colors to match your floor.

if the scratch is white, its the clear coat that is showing the scratch, polishing or waxing will help, id try this first before the other to
