DIY Roman Blinds?

I was thinking of making my own window drapery in a style known as "roman blinds". Was wondering where to purchase the needed hardware? Such as pull string roller and locking mechanism.

Once you have made your Roman blinds you will need to fit them.

Here is a useful guide:

Check with any suppliers of window treatments or curtains rods suppliers. Also check with hardware stores.
