Changing a T-10 Spindle
How do I change the T-10 spindle, took covers off, removed packing nut, removed brass body, removed spindle. Replaced the same and now the handle is hard to turn

OK this got me thinking pretty hard. I do a lot of repair work and can't picture what a T-10 spindle even is, tell us.

Since there's a packing nut, maybe it wasn't pre-loaded properly or is set to tight?
