    Caulk and grout in shower
    I recently replaced some tiles on my shower floor and walls. I scraped out as much grout (it didn't look like caulk) as I could at the wall joints and the floor/wall joints, but didn't get most of it out. Then I put sanded grout in the joints and over the old grout, but after doing further reading I see I probably should have really gotten all the old stuff out and applied silicone caulking. At this point I don't want to redo the whole thing, and am wondering if I should just leave it alone and seal the grout really well, or should I apply caulk on top of the grout. If I do the latter should I still seal the grout first?

    I would leave seal the grout lines on the floor or walls real good but at the joints I probably would caulk over the top of the grout without first sealing it...
