You must find the source of the mold first. Is it a plumbing problem or do you have a roof leak. Once the source of moisture is found, eliminated and dried then you can remove the mold. Try a commerical mildicide or 50/50 bleach and water. There will likely be a residual odor for a very long time because it gets absorbed into the wood and fibers in the home. When you have done all of this I'd use a power vent or exhaust fan in a dry area for several days.
