I'm removing my vinyl flooring in the bathroom, is there a product that removes the cove base adhesive ? Or do I just rip the base off and ruin the drywall behind it ?
Keep it moving, and you may be able to soften the adhesive without scorching the molding too badly. Bad fumes if you do, use plenty of ventilation. A heat gun might be a more civilized choice.
How would you remove the cove base adhesive when someone else has already ripped off the cove base. The wall is nicely painted, but it looks awful with the adhesive smear all the base.
