I work in several states and hve been told by several people that I can file an interstate claim and get and UI benifits from the highest paying state. Any knowledge about this subject out there?

An interstate claim is done by the unemployment department, all you do is go to the unemployment office where you live and file for unemployment. The will do the check of all of the states you work and they will do the process, nothing special for you to do.
