    There's no way for us to find the insurance carrier for you, we don't have access to that type of information.

    I work in IT for an insurance company and I just want to know, how can you have a policy number and not know the carrier? Unless its Group Health then I would understand. I have my policy number for my insurance through work but I couldn't tell you the carrier :) other than that if it's auto or home/renters etc.. I def. know who my carriers are.

    Is it your policy? What type of insurance? Home, auto, grouphealth etc..

    1. Is it your policy, or someone else's?

    2. Did you purchase the policy? If so, how long ago?

    3. Where is the original policy?

    4. Many insurance companies have check digits or letters inside each policy number. Have you Googled the number?
