| | | Egg Cracker? I have a Egg King egg cracking machine we bought in the 80's. It will crack 20,000 egg in an hour. Trying to find out how much something like this would sell for now, we just cant use it for what it was able to do and never have. I've tried looking for it on the internet, all I find are the homeowner single carckers. | | | | | | |

Who would need an egg cracker that would crack 20,000 eggs an hour ? I cant even imagine what 20,000 eggs would look like, but that would be a lot of scrambled eggs !!

Well Tickle, I didn't say anyone would need that many, I was just saying it would. But if you have ever worked for someone who advertises using fresh eggs and had to hand crack 1000 - 2000, a day it comes in handy.

I've looked on ebay and craigslist, nothing on those. I was able to find all the paper work that came with it when we bought it and we paid $3200.00 for it. So that kind of helps.

upat245, I have to ask, why did you buy it for that much money. Did you have a purpose for it at the time, or did you buy it for speculation purposes ??

My family has owned a bakery since 1958 and had an account which call for many items. And large amounts of the items called for many dozens of eggs. My father was President of Retail Bakers of America and the company that made the cracker ask us to try it, worked great so we bought it. 5 or 6 years down the road the business which had the account with us was bought out by a bigger co. so we lost it and never really used it that much any more.
