I was just accepted entry with a TN Visa.

I am a Canadian citizen. Do I become a temporary resident or am I a non-resident? Also, my employer will be paying me in US funds, with the Canada-US treaty where do I file my income tax? Can I get a US driver's license? Do I need to keep my Canadian residence (even if it does not make sense) since this is just a temporary status?

I've tried to find info on the IRS website, also on the USCIS website, info is very sparse.
