Unpaid Credit debt

Hi,
I need advice for below problem.
I studied in canada 5 years back and I had unpaid credit card debts for 2500 CDN$.
As i was student i couldn't pay the debt. I moved to Uk and got job only after an year.

Now I applied for canadian immigration will my unpaid debt will affect my immigration process (will be it a criminal offence) or If suppose i get the immigration and land in
canada will i arrested for any fraulent charge.

I dont have any details about my bank account now, so I dont know how to contact
or scared to connect the bank now.

Any info will be helpfull.Thanks in advance......
