UK Work Permit validity

I am an Indian citizen. I was in the UK for 4 years on a Student's Visa. In 2007 I got a job at a bank and got a work permit which is in my passport & valid upto 2011.
In 2008 I got a job in the same bank in India and returned to India. Now I have to go to UK for a few weeks on work (for the same bank). Will this work permit be valid for travel from India to UK & back?
