UK Work Permit and Dependant Visa both together

Hi My wife has a UK dependant visa and currently she is working in India. She will get an oppurtunity from her current company to come to UK after 4 months. Right now she wants to come on dependant visa. So will she get the Work Permit from UK or she has to go to India again?

There is no need for her to get a work permit if she currently holds a UK dependant visa. The UK dependant visa qualifies her to work legally in the UK for the period of time stipulated thereon.

However, if she is a dependant, why is she working in India? In any event, she can re-enter the UK and work accordingly provided she still falls within the category for which the visa was issued.
