What are the prices of visa and passports in Accra, Ghana? And where can I go to see if real or fake? She seems sincere, I have received several photos and videos of her and her son. How do I know if this is a scam or if there are good people in Accra, Ghana.

First, the truth is number of visitor's visas issued by US embassy in Ghana is equivalent to zero. So here comes the question; does she has a US visa issued before? If this is true, it should cost almost nothing. Application fee for visitor's visa is $131.

Second, did she ever have a passport? If she had one and it's now expiring, ask for her passport number and check with Ghana embassy near you. The embassy should be able to verify if this person is real.

From my experience, dealing with visa issues for years, more than 75% of long distance relationship ends up a scam and among countries in Africa, my statistic goes up to 90%++

If you are convinced that they are good people, run background check. Don't hire private investigator, contact US embassy in Ghana.
