I born in pakistan,i became mexican national 3 years ago ,i applied visit visa for me ,my wife and son of 4 years they are mexican by birth,every thing was fine ,I answered all questions asked by visa officer ,i have business my wife is professor ,visa officer checked other documents bank statement etc... said ok you will receive your passports within 7 to 10 days with visa ,we went to pay for pegaso express in us embassy .after 14 days US embassy called that they will take time to decide my visa i said ok but any reason they said because i born in pakistan so i have to waite till they have confirmation about me from USA home security.

Now my question is how long it can be delay ,or just this is one excuse why at the moment visa officer didnt told us all this story
