status of application

Hi,

I hv applied for immigration to Canada from India in Nov 2002. I hv two queries.

First, i want to know the processing time required by the consulate. Because, in their official website they show application processing time for those applicants only who hv applied between 1.1.2006 to 31.12.2006. There is no information for applicants who hv applied before this period.

Second, i came to know that there is some legal process under which after paying requisite fees, i can hv my file photocopied where the Immigartion officer in Canada have put his remarks. If this is true, i want to know the exact proceudre for this service.
