South Africans wanting to marry in Germany

Hi,

I am a South African and my Girlfriend and I have been together for two and a half years. She is a German citizen ( living and working in germany) and we intend on getting married, I am currently applying for a holiday Visa (3 Months) and we want to get married in this time.

I need to know the legalities of getting married and the red tape behind the German law...

What documents do I need, and will I be able to live and work in germany, and where is it easier to get married, South Africa or Germany?

This website will explain what you have to do to get married in Germany. I am sure your fiance could have filled you in on legalities as well
