Hi i wanted to ask about the "Spouse Settlement" visa. My enquiry is that i have come to england on my spouse settlement visa and am living here from last 5 months,I have got 2 years visa. But my wife always keeps threatning that i will give you divorce and deport you. I am currently working here and paying all legal taxes and obeying all the laws of uk as a decent citizen. I just want to ask if we get divorced,would i be forced to leave the country or i would be allowed to live in the UK till my visa expiry. Do i have any rights on her because if she has sponsored me for my 2years visa then she is liable to support me for two years. I left my country and came here to join her but now after struggling for 5 months i have just got the job. Please guide me what are my rights and what can i do in such situation.
