Hi about how much longer should it take for the residence to be approved if we field a "immigrant petition for relatives" in the year 2001

It depends on relationship between petitioner and beneficiary.. for example:

Parents and children under 21, unmarried: This takes between 12-18 months max.
BUT for siblings, it takes between 10-12 years.

Please be more specific... what is the relationship between these 2 parties and what is the age of beneficiary.
