L2 EAD queries

Hi ALL,

I am going to USA on L2 visa (My wife has L1 visa). I have queries related to EAD.

1. Is it possible to apply fir EAD and then leave country for a month ? Can i leave country when my EAD is in process ?

2. Is it possible to work without EAD or when EAD is under process ?

3. Can i apply for H1 visa when my EAD is under process ?

Any help is highly appreciated.
