My indian passport expires within 6 months can I travel to US ?

My Name is Satya , I am holding US B1 Visa and it will expire in 2017 But My indian passport expires within 6 months. Can I travel to US now? I have 3 weeks work in US

Your passport must be valid, at least 6 months. Better go get a new passport and you can use the existing visa. Hand both passports to immigration for inspection.. No problem.

Actually India is exempt from the 6 month passport validity rule while travelling to USA. Check this link:

[Citizens of the countries listed in below link are exempt the six-month rule and need only have a passport valid for their intended period of stay.]
