Hi - I have been approached by an individual who wants to recruit outside the US as a 1099 employee for my company. She has an H4 Visa. It was my understanding that H4 individuals could not work in the US; however, because she has expertise outside the US and wishes to conduct her business outside the US (in India, if it matters) Does anyone know if this type of relationship is permissible? I have a company that is a value added reseller of VoIP products, database services, web-based software applications. and other back office support to staffing professionals.
