Illegal Immigrants ability to file charges

Can an illegal immigrant press charges on a US citizen? We live in PA, a strongly suspected illegal immigrant has pressed false charges. NO ONE has checked his citizenship even though we told them our suspicions? Should we be pursuing this any further?

Thanks!

I think if it is crime anyone can file charges. But if it's false there is no need to worry. Oh even if you let the police know that the person is an illegal their responsiblity is to investigate the crime.

Actually a person files a complaint, it is the DA that actually presses charges. But even illegal aliens have the right to be protected under the law.

And often dont' expect the INS to come running, often even when they are arrested for doing a crime they INS don't come get them and the police merely turns them loose.

to verify that he is illegal fist step would be to "get rid of him" if no one is looking for him or reports him missing because if he is illegal then the company he works for wont report that he didn't show up because they will get in trouble for hiring an illegal and family wont call it in because they will get deported and if you "get rid of him" the the charges will not be to good afterwards

Lowtax4eva disagrees: Wow, no only wrong but a very bad idea, as stated above now that he has filed a complaint the DA is now the one pressing charges based on the evidence provided
