Hi,

My H-4 visa expires on June 30, 2007. My husband's company will file for extension only in May,2007.

A company is ready to sponsor my H-1B visa on April 1st,2007. Is an H-4 extension receipt/approval absolutely necessary in this case in order to file my H1-B?

Can't the company go ahead and file the H1-B petition on the basis of my existing H-4 and provide the H-4 extension receipt notice at a later date?

Please advise...
