I have recently signed up for this and i need you to help me with my questions listed below.

I'm currently on H4 visa; however i got my H1B approved for the year 2008-09. My official start date is 1st October 2008.

I have already booked my tickets to visit India. I need to know which is the earliest date i can go for my VISA stamping. Can i go for my VISA stamping on September 15th or so? Please advice.

And if my H1B is not stamped for any reason (say VISA is declined) can i come back on H4 visa?

It will be great if these questions are answered. Thanks a lot.
