H1 Job

Hi i have a H1 visa, i am planning to reach US shortly. i just wanted to know if i can work for another company other than my sponsor as soon as i reach there.

lawanwadee Immigration Expert Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: California Posts: 2,280	Your visa specifies who you are working with, so you will need to work for the employer who applied this visa for you first. You may file for a H-1 transfer later, but not as soon as you reach US.
