french nationality

french nationality

Hi,

I am Indian nationality and my father is French but he died several years ago. I have got all the papers of his to show that he was French nationality. My question is? Can I acquire French nationality and what is the procedure for it?
if any one knows the answer please reply soon..it is urgent..
