Do we have borders or not!

I just watched a story about our borders and lack of being able to control them, and the guy they interviewed said the twelve million illegals already in this country, without documentation or credential, should be aloud to stay... because "they're here already" No account on how they are taking but not giving to the system. They will use it up till what they came here for fails all of U.S.

The bigger issue, the huge white elephant in the middle of the room, as I have heard it called, is not about just Mexicans but about border control, itself. If you can't focus on that, we don't have a conversation.

There is a compelling argument to immigrants who come here since you have to consider that there are more than 4,000 factories within 50 miles of the border on the Mexican sidehttp://www.cfomaquiladoras.org/borderworkerstruggle.en.html
So with all these jobs and being exploited by American business they still come for a better life while American companies make big profits, with no oversight either here in the US or in Mexico. Add that to the fact that the laws are ignored for those using illegals for labor gives compelling evidence that our government has no intention of stemming the illegal march to America and has policies in place that encourage them to come here. I can't blame them, even when the plants relocate, their the conditions and pay are third world so its not like they have a lot of choices so don't blame them for coming, Call George and ask him what the heck is he up to.This was sent to me by a friend in the north,
Yeh that would work. Enjoy the bird feeder below. Herby

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with
> seed.
>
> Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous
> flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started
> building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to
> the barbecue.
>
> Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the
> table................ Everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They
> would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my
> own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the
> feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and
> demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.
>
> After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. I took
> down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up
> their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.
> Soon, the back yard was like it used to be... Quite, serene and no one
> demanding their rights to a free meal.
>
> Now lets see... Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing,
> free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be a
> automatic citizen. Then the illegal came by the tens of thousands.
> Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are
> housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency
> room doctor: you child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because
> over half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a
> bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in
> English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and
> screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.
>
> Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder!!!

There is no border patrol. No such thing, so there goes the conversation. Call George and see what he says. Good Luck!!

Also, if a business saves millions in labor costs and keeps it as profit, they are paying taxes at a CORPORATE tax rate, which is way higher than a poor person's indiviual tax rate. Your bottom line is that everything you buy is cheaper because of immigrants being all around the supply chain and your taxes are lower....
You hit the nail on the head. Not too long ago it was ILLEGAL for a black man to use the same restroom as a white man. Think of where we would be today if all we focused on then was how "illegal" it was for the black dude to use the white mans restroom. There are moral laws (don't kill, don't steal, etc) and then there are laws made by man just to put others down.

I am shocked at the number of "closet racists" who have crawled out of the woodwork trying to use the law as a platform for their hate mongering. How about we ask the native Americans about our legal status here? I say every illegal immigrant should ask the Native Americans if they can stay. If they (native Americans) agree to let them stay, I believe their presence here will be more justified than ours.

To date the government hasn't asked them to go home, and left the front door open when they came. How can they be illegal when they where invited to the party, and the party just ain't over yet?? Just ask George.
