Do I have to work for the petitioning Employer before joining another Employer?

I am working for Employer-A since May,2005 on L1-B Individual Visa.
This Visa is valid till Feb,2008 and my current employer-A is ready to file an extension for it in Nov,2007.
So this way I can have L1-B status beyond Feb,2008.
Now,in March,2007 I also applied for H1-B through employer-B and is approved and on which I can not work before Oct,2007 as per law.
Now as my EmployerB is a consultant and does not provide permanent job, I gave interview in Microsoft and cleared technical round, though my HR round is still remaining.
what I would like to know is Can I join Microsoft immediately from Oct,2007 without working for the petitioning employer-B?
If not,how long do I have to work for the petitioning employer-B to join another Employer-C?
In order to join another employer-C Do I need permission of petitioning employer-B ?
Thanks in Advance.
