Change status from cap-exempt H1b visa to H4 while new H1b visa processing is going ?
I am working in a University in USA on a cap-exempt H1b visa(does not come under 65000 H1b visa limit as it is in name of a University). I am applying for a new under cap H1b visa this year. If my application is chosen in lottery then can I change my status to H4(dependent on my H1b visa holder husband) while my new H1b visa processing is going on?
