Canadian marrying someone w/dual US/Canadian citizenship

I was born in Canada, and my boyfriend was born in Canada. Right now, he has dual US and Canadian citizenship from a previous marriage. My question is, we're considering marrying, and what would be the best approach? Us marrying in Canada, and us relocating to the states(where he works)or us marrying in the states and staying there? Or staying in Canada? We both would like to re-locate to the US.
