Canadian Immigration

I was a landed immigrant in Canada in 1994, but this was cut short having to return to the UK due to family circumstances. I was out of Canada for more than 180 days so was unable to return, does anyone know a way around this, have the laws changed to allow people like us to reapply succesfully?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Steve

Go to the canadian embassy in UK coz for sure they can help you with your problem or surf their site in google or yahoo.Canada is open this year, a lot of FIlipinos are goin' there and the requirements here in the Phil. become lesser this year. Go and check.

My finance is from Cananda... She wants to stay here with me in the United States, i'm an American.. I was wondering, how can she do this? I'm also enlisted in the United States Navy.. What steps should we take? we have a K-1 in process.... Or should I do other paper work?
Thanks.
