Can an intending immigrant's income be part of the affidavit of support for green card
I 'm in the US on an H1B visa for another 15 months, (of 3 years total). I married an American

Citizen who took off work to care for our newborn this year, as I am on a work contract for the 3

    Years total.

My question in obtaining my green card is:.

Is it a requirement for us to have him fill out a "affidavit of support", ( he had no income in

2008) or is my income verification (close to 50k) all that is necessary.

    Thank you.
